Join us in downtown Elkton for our annual soup contest! Local businesses make homemade soup for the public to taste and vote for their favorite. Walk up and down main street Elkton, enjoy the soups, and vote for your favorite!

How it works:

🥣 Local businesses will prepare homemade soup.

🥣 If the business is not located in downtown Elkton, the soup will be served out of the Elkton Alliance, Inc. building at 101 E. Main Street.

🥣 Community members will visit each participating establishment and receive a small sample of each soup. If the establishment is a restaurant, there is no need for a reservation.

🥣 After sampling each soup, participants will then rank the soups and cast their votes. 

Important Info:

👉 Ballots will be available at each soup location but need to be returned to the Elkton Alliance, Inc. building by no later than 7:45 PM. 

👉 The winner will be announced at 8:00 PM and will be posted on social media. 

👉 A map noting each participating location will be made available prior to the event as well as at the event.
