Youth Empowerment Source

Youth Empowerment Source (YES) is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing critical supports to children, youth and families in Cecil County, MD. With a strong focus on prevention and education, YES equips youth and families with the tools young people need to reach successful adulthood.

YES believes in the potential of every child. Unfortunately, many young people don't have the resources, support or advocate they need to reach that potential. We are passionate about our community and strongly believe that education can change the direction we are moving in.

Through prevention programs, comprehensive case management and a strong focus on personal responsibility we know that lives can be changed and improved. We have seen it happen!

When youth say YES to education, when moms and dads say YES to becoming better parents, when a substance user says YES to sobriety and when we ALL say YES to the hard work of self improvement- the community cannot help but be transformed!
